Those who want to publish in journals and other books, such as the Asian Women Law, published by the Asian Women Law Institute, please follow the Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts below (In the case of non-members, the theses can be published with the approval of the Editorial Committee).
Ⅰ. Guidelines for Submitting Manuscripts
1. Deadline for Submitting Manuscripts
- The manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the below instructions and submitted to the Editorial Committee no later than two months before the scheduled date of publication (every November 30th).

2. Guidelines for Preparing Manuscripts
- Manuscripts that are not written in accordance with the guidelines will be returned to the author for correction.
3. Examination of the Thesis
- The submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by three judges and the results will be notified to the Editorial Committee. The Editorial Committee can demand revision or supplementation of the manuscripts, or postpone publication.

5. The Number of Times Theses Being Published
- The number of papers published per person is limited to two times per volume, including collaborations.
- In exceptional cases, if you want to submit more than three manuscripts, you must ask the Editorial Committee for approval and get the approval.
6. Copyright
- The authors own the copyright of the papers published in journals, and the copyright holders consider that this institute grants permission to copy or store or sell the papers in various ways such as CD-ROM TITLE or optical disk.
Ⅱ. Guidelines for Preparing Manuscripts
1. Manuscripts should be written in the form of theses, judicial interpretations, and materials.
- Manuscripts should be written in Korean (including Chinese characters), English, German, French, and Japanese.
- Manuscripts written in other languages are determined by the Editorial Committee.
2. Cover of Manuscripts
- The cover of manuscripts should be marked as follows.
- Type of manuscript
- Title of the paper (English title in parentheses)
- Name (English name in parentheses)
- Affiliation, position, degree
- Address
- The telephone number (office, home), e-mail address, fax number. And the body of the manuscript should be written from page 2, and should not include the author's name. The author’s name should be written in footnotes without using ‘a poor work’, ‘an unworthy manuscript of mine’, etc.
3. Co-authored
- The articles co-authored should be distinguished from the main author (the lead researcher) and co-authors and should be also listed in the order of the main author and co-authors.
4. Amount of Manuscripts
- As a general rule, the manuscripts needs to be about 100 pages, on 200 square writing paper.
5. Annotations
- Annotations are treated as footnotes.
6. Languages Written in Theses
- The papers should be written in ‘Han-guel 97’ or later versions. And papers written by other languages should be written in ‘Han-guel 97’ or later versions, or ‘MS-Word 97’ or later versions. However, if a manuscript written in other programs does not interfere with publication and the Editorial Committee finds it unavoidable, it can be accepted.
7. Specification for Theses
- The theses should be written according to the following standards.
- Paper type : A4 paper
- Paper Orientation : Narrow
- Paper Margin : Top 20mm, Header 15mm, Left & Right 30mm, Bottom 15mm, Footer 15mm, Binding 0
- Paper Number (Page Number) : It is displayed at the center of the bottom area (eg. -1-, -2-, -3- ...)
- The marks of chapter and section should be listed in order of I, 1, (1), 1), and a).
- Tables and pictures are marked with < Tables 1>, < Pictures>, etc. and titles.
- The references are displayed in the order of author, title of paper, signature, the edition number, (publisher, year of publication), the range of quoted page number. However, foreign references can be displayed according to the standard method of those countries.
- Books written by Korean or Chinese characters should be marked with 「」, and theses should be marked with “”. Books written by Roman alphabets should be italicized, and theses should be marked with “”.
- When quoting books or theses that are written by Korean or Chinese characters, those books or theses should be marked with '쪽', '면', '頁', etc. When quoting theses written by Roman alphabet, the theses should be marked with 'p', 'S', etc. according to the standard method of those countries.
- The domestic judgments shall be expressed in the order of the sentencing court, sentencing date, judgment or decision, and case number (eg. Supreme Court sentence of November 22, 2007, 2002두8626 Unanimous Decision of the Supreme Court) The foreign judgements shall be expressed according to the standard method of those countries.
- The co-author should be marked with '/' (eg. Park Gil-dong/Park Gab-dol, Keeton/Widiss/Henn).
- The author’s name, thesis title, ruling name, etc. in English should be written in lower case except the first letter.
- The thesis title, signatures, etc. in Japanese should not be translated.
8. After the conclusion and reference of a thesis, the English abstract and the English keywords should be written.
